Since the reopening of the road towards China, Mandalay has become a busy trading city, where past meets with the present. In Mandalay you can discover many temples and splendid pagodas, as well as the paper workshops which produce temple offerings...Unfortunately there are no Gulliver’s favorites in Mandalay. Despite their lack of charm the hotels listed are satisfactory.
