Entirely built in wood and located on the shores of the royal lake, the architecture of the Kandawgyi is reminiscent of ancient Burmese palaces.
In addition to the standard rooms, the Kandawgyi offers spacious and charming rooms equipped with modern amenities. The best rooms are located in the lotus wing. Two of the bungalows have a view of the Shwedagon and small private ponds. The hotel swimming pool and the jacuzzi are particularly well integrated in the environment.
Opinion
This hotel is frequented by groups of tourists, but we really like the secluded and peaceful suites that the establishment offers.
