Description
Located 45 minutes away by boat from Nyaung Shwe and ideally situated for trips in the area. The bungalows are on stilts made of wood and bamboo with private balconies from which you can view the lake. All the rooms are well equipped and nicely decorated.
Opinion
Although we prefer to send our guests to the Princess, we still like the Shwe Inn Thar very much. The location of this hotel right in the middle of the lake is magical. The only thing that detracts from your stay at this hotel is the sound of the boatmen early in the morning.
