Description

This superb hotel can be reached by road or across the lake. The traditional bungalows are built out of teak and other local materials. The reception room, the bar and the restaurant have been designed like a monastery, surrounded by a splendid garden with exotic plants.

The restaurant serves Burmese, Chinese as well as local Shan, Intha and Pao dishes. The food is excellent and the hotel also presents cultural shows. The bungalows are particularly well arranged and decorated with subtlety.

Opinion

Yannick has a particularly imaginative taste and has decorated his hotel in a way that would make any interior designer jealous. The spa that he designed is superb and you simply must visit his magic cellar and sample local wines. Misu, his wife, who is Burmese and first and foremost Shan, will give you a great welcome. We relish their hospitality.
